About the role

We are in search of Medical Imaging Receptionist to join us full time as an integral part of the practice. 

As the first point of contact, you’ll take great pride in the care and compassion you show to patients, along with the quality of the work you do. By drawing on your professionalism and friendly nature, you’ll put patients at ease, guiding them through their visit to the practice while contributing to the smooth operation of the practice.

With state-of-the-art equipment, our dedicated staff takes pride in the standard of personalised healthcare that we deliver.

Key responsibilities include:

• Answering phone calls and booking appointments
• Supporting a range of medical staff including Radiologists, Medical Imaging Technologists and referring practitioners and their associates
• Patient billing, cash handling, Medicare and EFT payments
• Confidentiality and management of patient records
• Maintaining a clean and organised practice

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills
• The ability and willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and computer literacy skills
• The ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Flexibility to work different shifts during the week between the operational hours of 7:30am and 8pm Mon to Fri, and 8am to 1pm Saturdays
• Previous medical reception experience with radiology experience (strongly regarded but not essential)
